August in Afghanland!

August

Here we are about to go blow stuff up :)

Out the window we saw old blown up Russian tanks from they were here!
They are literally everywhere.

Another Russian Tank

This guy kept asking if we were going to shoot him?
If we were you wouldn't be standing!

A little C4 candy bar sounds good right about now!

Its like playing with Legos........ That explode

One of our creations that goes BOOOOOOOOOmmmmmm.......!

And another...

Proof that I was there ;)

EOD to the rescue

And....... Boom goes the dynamite.

Yay, for explosives!

A view of us setting up.

Us from a distance.

Our security team

Me and my buddy Holman.

Awe the sunset..... Means one more day has gone bye.

This night I gave our Pilot/Barber an IV lesson. It was his first IV in ten years,
but we didn't tell the other guy that until after.

So on a convoy, this is my view out of the MATV.

So on the way back I attached my camera to the gun on top!
Here are some pictures of driving through Kunduz city.
My camera is mounted on the rear gun, So you are looking behind the convoy.

Instead of having a guy exposed on top of the vehicles we now have these!
Its like 'Call of Duty' but the guys it shoots don't regenerate.

This is a reason we no longer drive Hummers.
They started making their bombs bigger, and this is what happens to a Hummer.

This is the graveyard for humvees

And that's why we drive these bad boys now. They are called MATVs

And here is 'Pirate Mike'
He finally made it here..... It only took over 4 months to get him here
