September Part One

SEPTEMBER   Part One.....

Chief Young and I trying to figure out a math problem!
Math is like magic, the only reason its around is so people can say "Look what I can do"

During morning guard duty I snapped this pic during the sunrise.

Weird little afghan truck.

Here are some of the Norwegian MRAPs.

Here is one of our birds coming in for a landing.

Look at these crazy things.

American and German MRAPs.

This big German thing is like an office on wheels!
Its called "The Boxer"

Close up.

After a long 6 mile run in the middle of the hot Afghan sun, I got 2 IVs.

A little bit of room clearing Special Forces style.

I am the first one in and go to the the far right. I have a weapon malfunction after shooting the first target, but look how quick I clear it and go to 3 round burst.
Sorry the video is so crappy. I actually have it in 1080p, but the internet here is so slow that it took 1 hour to load this version.

So if you were to see this little trailer, what would you think it was?
We didn't know that we had a little Afghan pizza place here!
(Side Note)
Their little patio is made up of 10 landing pad panels. So that patios is worth about $15,000.
And if you look in the window, there is a piece of paper that says "Pizza Shop" written in pencil.
We walked inside and were pleasantly surprised

Then we got our food and it was awesome!

This pizza was good, even for the states!

I built this little poker table with my own hands! It looks like a felt top, But it is made from the material that we make our bunker walls out of (You can see it in the snake picture later).  You can also see that I have NO chips in front of me! I had no luck this day.

And some of the guys got this Near Beer. It has no alcohol, but it makes the guys feel at home.
This little porch doesn't seem like much. But one of those little panels are meant for runways and weigh a ton! Plus all the rocks you see, I had to move them around with a shovel!
Look at me.... I am working in Afghanland.
I took a few survey points so I can say I surveyed in Afghanistan!

So I am proud to of run this 6:28 average mile for a 5k. Even though I think the calorie number is wrong!

They Caught this Viper by the tents!
Make you use your headlamp at night.

Notice the fabric around the dirt wall! Same as my nifty poker table!
Until next time my friends........
