Here is a little bit more flying on the Chinooks
They call it "Big Windy". Its a fitting name, When we do hoist from the ground these big birds hover about 50'-100' above us and we have to stand sideways or we will blow away!

Here is my cute little Fathers Day box. Whitney sent me all sorts of goodies! This is the first time I can celebrate this awesome day! To bad I'm in Afghanland. I love Whitney for always putting a smile on my face.
So Holman(another medic here) got these little parachute guys a gag gift. So the doc bought this knife ad took us up the tower and said who ever can land closest to the knife gets it.
So by me posting this, means I won it :)

They have these little sunbathing areas all over. To bad it's about 120 degrees here.
They even have a BBQ pit with an out door patio.
And yes we did have a BBQ the night I got there.
